10 STEPS TO BECOMING A FRANCHISEE

1. The potential franchisee completes the Request Franchise Information form.
   
   
2. One of our franchise development managers calls the potential franchisee to introduce NexCen and our brands, discuss basic brand information and explain the franchise process.
   
   
3. If basic qualifiers are met, based on preliminary information and conversations, the Franchise Development Manager will provide the potential franchisee with a package outlining requirements and a brand brochure. The potential franchisee will then be required to fill out a Franchise Application.
   
   
4. Once the Franchise Development Manager receives the application, NexCen will perform standard credit and background checks.
   
   
5. If the credit and background checks meet NexCen's requirements, the Franchise Development Manager will, depending on situation, either arrange a face-to-face disclosure meeting or send a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) to the potential franchisee for review.
   
   
6. After a full review of the FDD, the potential franchisee must return the "Acknowledgement of Receipt" form to the Franchise Development Manager along with the package requirements. At this point, communication with lending institutions typically should begin.
   
   
7. Once all package items are received, a "discovery day" is scheduled at NexCen Franchise Management's corporate offices in Norcross, Georgia.
   
   
8. At the discovery day (or shortly thereafter) a Letter of Intent (LOI) will be provided to the potential franchisee outlining fees, development schedule and territory. This LOI must be signed and returned to the Franchise Development Manager before an official franchise offer can be extended.
   
   
9. Upon Board approval, a franchise is granted and the Development Agreement and/or Franchise Agreement is sent to the potential franchisee for their signature.
   
   
10. Once the Franchise and/or Development Fees are returned with the signed Agreement, the potential franchisee becomes a member of the NexCen family of brands.
